'99 San Andreas disc mount adaptors?
Hi there
I recently dug out my my '99 San Andreas Frame and want to give it a new lease of life. I have a bit of a problem with the rear frame disc mount. It looks like a Pro-stop mount as the early frames were the first to have discs on the market. I believe prostop discs sere made specifically for the frame.
Is there a converter available from the old frame mounts to IS?
Heres a piccy

There is a small batch of Pro Stop adapters for the San Andreas and well as the Moho CSX. Please remember to specify San Andreas. See Pic (they are all black anodized now) Please contact John@mountaincycle.com to order yours today

Hi John, are these available from the EU office as well? Price?
Thanks,
Gus -
Inappropriate? Not sure what EU has. I have been told the website will have purchase availability from both locations. Maybe Krien will chime in and let us know. We had a small batch built here in the USA they cost us quite a bit more than TW.

Inappropriate?Hi guys,
Here's my dilemma. I've purchased a San Andreas frame from a friend of mine and he gave me a rear disc brake adapter with the frame. I recently installed it on the frame but to my great disappointment, I can't fit a set of Hayes HFX-9 with an 8" rotor on it.
I've tried to use a Hayes caliper adapter (74-23) on it but I can only use the bottom bolt to hold it onto the brake adapter. (see the pic)
I would have to grind down the top of the Hayes adapter to bolt on the second bolt but if I do so, the caliper will rest on top of the rotor and the wheel won't spin freely.
I'd love to get this bike going ASAP since a friend of mine fell in love with it and wants to buy it.
Any idea or suggestion would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks
Jean

P.S. For some reason, I can't post a picture. It keep saying: "TypeErro: 'responseText' is null or not an object when I click on the "Upload" button. ???!
I’m frustrated
