Zen Swingarm Pivot Bolt
I have managed to round out the swingarm pivot bolt before reaching the 15 ft*lbs of torque. Has anyone found a replacement at the hardware store that might be hardened of have a 6mm hex instead of 5mm? It seems to be a 6mmx1.0 but I have not removed it to verify or to check if there are any shoulders on the bolt that would rule out a standard bolt.

Inappropriate?8 x 70 "all shoulder" would be nice but I don't think it will make much difference. You can also convert to a locknut on the other side to help prevent the bolt from getting loose.

Inappropriate? Thanks to Dark Horse and John@mountaincycle. I use a 90x8mm bolt (which was total length) and trimmed ~15mm off. I believe both bearing/frame transistions are on the smooth untreaded portion of the bolt unlike the original bolt which is threaded all the way. Also I flipped the bolt around and used a ny-lock nut on the drive-side. Because I'm running a 2x9 setup with a 30t small ring I can torque this bolt without removing the crank. Before I had to remove the driveside crank.
