I've installed weave on 5 different Firefox installations between work and home. It works great on RHEL5 at work, Ubuntu Hardy and Mac OS X (Tiger) at home. It won't work on Ubuntu Intrepid at home and Windows XP at work! Where it doesn't work, it says 'Invalid passphrase' at setup. Is there a limit on how many instances of weave I can run? All Firefox installations are up-to-date to 3.0.1. Weave 0.2.5.

is there any other product that can do this? The google one hasn't been updated in almost 2 years now and I'd like to see something like this for my home/work computers
use an xml file for syncing addons. not sure how to explain it, but instead of backing up all the addons, make an xml file or somekind of file that list the addons, and urls for each. the idea is to save space, and when syncing the addons, the latest updated versions of the addon will be downloaded and installed.
I think weave needs a way to notify upon syncing. And give the option to sync on closing if it doesn't do it automatically. And maybe a "so and so minutes since last sync" when you hover on the icon
