Sync notification Last reply on July 02, 2008 06:15.

I think weave needs a way to notify upon syncing. And give the option to sync on closing if it doesn't do it automatically. And maybe a "so and so minutes since last sync" when you hover on the icon

    Just ideas

A micro-economy for the Addons site? Last reply on June 23, 2008 02:53.

As an extension developer, I'd very much like to see the ability for an economy to develop around the Add-ons site (even for sandbox items). As a number of sites are doing now, open source projects allow paid services to be associated with a project (the opportunity to take donations, for users to make paid offers to the pool or an individual). I'd also especially like to see the ability for a developer to offer to develop something or work on something if pledges for a certain amount can be given.

I think the great success in participation that Firefox Addons have garnered could be amplified if participation could be extended to would-be small-scale patrons who'd like to see interesting features implemented and made available, or to corporate or other sources of funding who come across a trusted developer and good idea which they'd like to see implemented, or make their own request for a particular tool.

I so want this to be a real product. Last reply on May 22, 2008 03:58.

Seems like it must do something at night... when the ice weasels come.

Question is, what do I actually need? Perhaps an add-on for Thunderbird to protect my PC-using friends/co-workers from things that won't bother my Mac?

Actually more than that, I want something for task management that can associate to-do's with specific emails/message threads and/or bookmarked webpages. And it should allow me to get at the other two from any starting point.

    I want a tag-group feature! Last reply on May 16, 2008 19:18.

What I want is a way to organize tabs into groups of tabs. So in other words, instead of opening a new window and loading it up with tabs, I can just select a different set of tabs to appear in the current window. A good yet incomplete example can be seen here [ http://www.paranoid-androids.com/tabg... ].

In a way Firefox can already do what I'm asking but it requires making a folder of links then selecting "Open All in Tabs." The problem is that doing this wipes out everything you were previously doing.

I just added the product "Spicebird" to this [getsatisfaction/mozilla] space as an alternative discussion place to the official product site (http://www.spicebird.com). Am hoping for some spicy discussions on this really promising new product!
