0.1.3 now takes about 10 seconds before I can enter data into the ubiquity box on OSX
Im on OSX (10.5) and Firefox 3.0.5. I just updated my ubiquity to 0.1.3 and now it takes about 10 seconds before I can enter anything into the ubiquity box. The grey box appears, with nothing in it, then mozilla's mouse icon spins for about 10 seconds. Then the data entry is allowed. I've tried this in both the 'default' skin and the 'experimental' skin and it's the exact same.
I have installed quite a few feeds, so perhaps that's the issue, but they are the same feeds I had been subscribed to for version 0.1.2, and there was no delay there.
If it helps, this is the listing of feeds I am subscribed to:

Inappropriate?Turns out that it must be either one of the subscriptions of just because I have too many. After unsuscribing to everything except the default subscriptions, it's fast again. So I'll add them one at a time from this point forward :)
I’m happy

Inappropriate?I have the same problem, and i'm using windows vista.....however, i must notice that previous version of ubiquity (the one without this fancy window ) was working much faster and. Actually, i find the old interface much more functional than this one....this is slower, unnecessary bigger (i don't want ubiquity to cover half of my screen), so for me this upgrade was nothing but downgrade of , in general, great idea that ubiquity concept is.

Inappropriate?First, I would change your skin back to the default skin (not use the experimental). That should solve your problem about the bigger box.
As for the slowness, what I did was unsubscribe to all my feeds (except the default Mozilla feeds), then readded them one at a time. there is a part of your about:ubituity page that shows recently removed feeds, so it makes it easy to readd the ones you removed.
So remove them.
Test out the speed brining up the box. Should be quick.
Then add one, test speed, repeat.
I’m indifferent
