Add edit command to any command in command-list
It is quite irritating/confusing for beginners that there is no dedicated point where commands are stored as files. So once you started creating a second script you cannot return to (and edit) the first one by just opening the command-editor.
The most intuitive point seems to me to be the command-list. Just put an edit link behind every command to reload it into the command editor and it will also be easier for beginners to have a look at the code of built-in scripts to get a first impression what to do...

Inappropriate?Hi achimbode,
Improving the interface for editing/developing commands is definitely on the to do list for Ubiquity, and I like this idea.
Right now commands aren't really "built in", you are subscribed to a bunch of command feeds. You can overwrite a command by finding the source (run the command "help" and then view the auto updated source under the "Subscribed Feeds" column). You can then paste the command into the command editor and edit it there. You probably want to rename your development version.
Does that help? Awesome you want to help improve Ubiquity!
I’m excited.
