Cursor drags entire window instead of selecting text.
I'm trying to select text on web pages in Firefox 3.0.1, but pressing the mouse button and moving the cursor results in the entire browser app moving around on my screen.

Inappropriate?I'm using the same version of firefox and the same OS and I'm not seeing this. Has it always been like this, or did it just start? Did you install any new extensions recently?
-
Inappropriate? It's been intermittent. It'll stop after a restart of FF, but then kick in again. It's only been happening since I upgraded to Leopard last week. My extensions:
-
I don't see anything obvious that could be doing it. Try disabling them all and enabling them one by one, after you see if it doesn't start doing the dragging thing again when they're all disabled. -
Inappropriate?Just wanted to reiterate that a restart of FF fixes the window-drag phenomenon. Next time it happens, I'll see if I can isolate an extension that is causing it, as you suggested. Thanks!

Inappropriate?I'm having this problem in FF 3.0.3. The restart works, but that's a royal pain in the rear when I've got 3-6 tabs doing research. Anyone else still experiencing this? It is intermittent. Thanks!

Inappropriate?Having the same intermitent problem here, using Mac OS X 10.5.5 and Firefox 3.0.3
I’m sad

Inappropriate?Anyone else notice that if you try to google this problem, one of the top hits is this thread, and nobody else has ever had a problem like it?
Is there any chance any of you have MondoMouse installed?
Chances are this won't happen anymore in Firefox 3.1 because bug 398928 may inadvertently fix it. -
Inappropriate?@samiam89 and @hvico, do you guys tend to run FFox with a ton of tabs open as well?
@Thomas - still very intermittent, solved by relaunch. Hoping 3.1 is the last anyone hears of it.
I’m guardedly optimistic

Inappropriate?I'm having this problem too. I recently added StumbleUpon, which I noticed in your list of add-ons. I doubt that's the root, but does anyone else afflicted, use StumbleUpon as well?
-
Inappropriate?I am having this issue and I also have Stumble.
I can also confirm that restarting fixes the issue.
