Do disabled add-ons slow down FireFox?
I have tons of add-ons installed, but I keep many of them disabled and enable them only when I need them for a specific purpose.
For eg. I have many web-development related add-ons, but I need only once in a while, so I keep them disabled till such time.
I need to know if this slows down Firefox in any way - it could be startup time, memory requirement or any other factors.

Inappropriate?noooooo. disabling the add-ons would correct the problem of slow start-up. u need not uninstall them. its just that even a few enabled add-ons slow down the start-up.
