email this to 'address' - results in Bad Request from Gmail...
Every time I select some objects and chooses "Email this to 'whatever'" I get redirected to Gmail which says Bad Request...
More specifically:
Bad Request
Your client has issued a malformed or illegal request.
EDIT: I've just found out that if I have a logged gmail session in another tab it works just fine...

Inappropriate?I will work this into other channels and try to get an answer.
I’m unhappy that 8 people have this problem but no one has fixed it.

Inappropriate? This is Alpha software, and the email command needs an overhaul. It will be fixed before a public beta.
I’m sad I can't do more.

Inappropriate?I get a "Bad Request" when selecting
2 [verhalen] van Yury Kazakov Jurij Pavlovič Kazakov
from the page http://www.librarything.com/catalog/k... , guess because part of a table / lots of html is used in GET?

Inappropriate?Same problem here. Evidently selected text is passed to the body of the new email as part of a URL, and gmail has size limits that are being transgressed. Some other way needs to be found to pass the info. This has been a common problem here with Firefox email addons, including 'email this!', while Opera, whose email client is internal, knows no such limitations (the only prob with Opera is that it doesn't send formatted mail).
Another problem I have with the current Ubiquity: I don't know how to invoke the mail to: command, which would fire the system email app (TBird on XP, here).
be well,
