AFAIK extensions installed in FX are currently not used/loaded/supported under Prism. Will this be added? If so, any idea when?

Inappropriate?It's up to each extension author to make their extension compatible with non-firefox XULrunner applications.
You can contact the authors of the particular ones you'd like to get working in Prism, or if you're up to it, work on their code yourself. Almost all of them are open source.
