F6 key does nothing in Firefox 3

I demand to know why my F6 key no longer works in Firefox 3.0. Having to mouse up to the address bar and double-click on it is... unseemly.

Hello, I looked into this and it's Bug 426850. There are alternatives, though:

Windows: "Alt+D" and "Ctrl+L"
Linux: "Alt+D" and "Ctrl+L"
Mac OS: "F6" and "Cmd+L"

I don't know what OS you're on, so I don't know if F6 was supposed to work or not.
