Firefox 3.0.1 Flash Video Problem
I have a weird problem about playing flash videos in Firefox 3.0.1.
I don't experience this problem normally. But sometimes, the first few seconds seems, then the video doesn't continue.
No problem about loading. I can see other frames if I drag the video control bar. And it's not related to the web site. When it happens, all the flash videos in any website can't be played. (Youtube, Videojug etc.)
By the way, I use Windows XP. And flash player version is 9,0,124,0
I upload a screen capture to Youtube. You can see the problem here if I can't embed the video here. Thanks!

Inappropriate?Just for kicks, can you see if Flash Player 10 RC resolves this issue?
-
Inappropriate?I am not a pro but I will try to install Flash Player 10 RC. But as I noticed before, I experince this problem rarely. (once a week maybe)
I will inform if it does again. Thanks for the help!
I’m undecided

Inappropriate?I have the same problem, stops after 2 seconds, and doesn't have audio. Back to normal after restarting Firefox.
Happens once or twice a week, but once it happened every time after I restarted FF.
Also, I have the problem when FF crashes when closing tab that has Flash with video. -
I would suggest you go ahead and also try Flash Player 10 RC. -
Inappropriate?I installed Flash Player 10 manually. And I did not any problem. (btw the problem doesn't happen all the time.) But Firefox needed flash plugin to show a flash banner. And when I click to install, the browser installed flash player 9 automatically. Then tonight I had that 'stopping video problem" again.
I’m silly

Hmm, it shouldn't have installed Flash Player 9 if you already had Flash Player 10. I'll see what I can find out. -
Inappropriate?First, you must exit any program that might be using Flash. That's any IM programs, any browsers, any email programs, just about anything that can connect to the network.
Next, you'll want to remove the various Flash plug-ins from your system following the instructions here: http://is.gd/35d0
Then you should install Flash 10 using the installer here: http://is.gd/gSr
You _must_ make sure that you're not running any program on your system that could use Flash when performing all of the above steps. -
Inappropriate?I've installed FP10 and used it for few days, seems like the problem is gone. Thanks.
