firefox 3.0.5 crashing in vista, safe mode too
I was told to start a new thread from an earlier thread.
A few weeks ago, firefox 3.0.1 started crashing, and i'm not aware of any new plugins, add ons, or new software installed at that time. in fact, i believe i was using it at an internet cafe, and then suddenly crashed, and it gives me a crash window immediately upon restarting.
i uninstalled and restarted, and it still keeps crashing. I downloaded 3.0.4, and it still crashes, and just today, i downloaded the 3.0.5, and it's still crashing. I did about an hour of internet research looking for some kind of similar problem, and haven't found anything useful.
i'm back to using internet explorer. can you help?

Inappropriate?the new version(3.0.8) off firefox seems to have the same prob.
it keeps on crashing ...i tryed a clean install a few time's. it freezes ,doesn't load a few site's in surf on..
thise prob. i didn't have with the earlier versions.
add ons or not that doesn't seem to be the prob.
tryed with zero add ons... tryed it with one at a time... nothing seems to work.
..... i'm lost
