Inappropriate?I see that you are trying Safe mode. I recommend uninstall Firebug, if installed, because it causes problem with Yahoo! Mail. And for Google Mail, it might be Skype add-on, if installed.
If that doesn't work, try this article, http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Firefox....

I’m in love with Firefox 3

this solves the problem

Inappropriate? It did reboot in safe mode. lol
The add-ons i use are:
Foxmarks, FoxyTunes, Smart Bookmarks, Undo Closed Tabs, Internet Download Manager Plugin, Google Toolbar, Mozila Default Plug-in and Flash.
I’m lol
-
Inappropriate? Not really, it crashed when I opened up the Add-ons table.
Memory problems could cause it?
I downloaded Firefox 3.0.1, not sure if it is the same that was released, but I read that it fixed...
I just uninstalled firefox, and I'll try this one, if it didn't work I'll have to stay with 2. :(
I’m confident

Inappropriate?Firefox 3.0.1 is nightly build, it might not be as stable as Firefox 3.0 but might fix your problem. I don't recommend it, but it might work.
-
Inappropriate?Oh, so that wouldn't help as well.. lol
If Firefox 3 isn't stable here, the Nightly Build could be worse.
I not sure what could be causing it, I have completely uninstalled and installed over and over, without add-ons it seems to take more time to crash, but it does crash anyway.
But I really like the add-ons.. :/ -
Inappropriate?Firefox 3.0.1 might help. It has never crashed on me before, while Firefox 3.0 has.
Lets try a new profile. A profile stores your settings, extensions, bookmarks and so on.
Full Instructions for creating a new profile can be found at: http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managin...
This way we can clear everything. If it fixes the problem we can migrate your data over to the new profile.
I’m in love with Firefox 3
-
Inappropriate?Okay, I installed 3.0.1 and it didn't crash after I close it, which is a good sign, because when I closed FF 3 that send error screen showed up.
I'll keep testing, if everything runs smoothly fine, if it doesn't, I'll create a new profile, thanks very much for your help. :)
I’m happy

Inappropriate?I use Firefox 3.0.1 in Fedora 9. The problem started on 24 Sep 2008. Whenever I sign out of yahoo mail the browser crashes. I have Adblock and Noscripting plug-ins installed. I tried uninstalling the plugins and the problem persists. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox itself and the problem is still there. I have Windows XP Home as my other operating system and I tried running Firefox 3.0.2 (which I installed on 24 sep) and there is no problem.
I tried to run Firefox in safemode in Fedora it still crashed on signing out of yahoo mail. Please suggest some fix. By the way check for updates is grayed out in the Help menu when I am running as a user or super user in Fedora.
thanks in advance

Inappropriate?Firefox crashes constantly even after removing my profil, uninstall/reinstall Firefox and running in safe mode in Fedora 10. Has been this way with FF 3.0.6 to 3.0.8
Other browsers are not affected (Konqueror, Opera, Epiphany)
I’m frustrated
