Firefox crashes on exit even in safe mode. No new add-ons (minimal anyway). Windows XP.
Firefox started telling me it crashed (and submitting crash reports) about 3 weeks ago when I exit. I tried safe mode, same thing.
I’m frustrated

I'll have to pay more attention. I frequently have five or six open tabs when I exit. Would removing and re-installing Flash be a good thing to try? This has only been a nuisance problem, not a disaster, since it is in fact exiting before crashing, and it has always been able to restore the session when it comes back.

Well it listed the latest version of flash installed, so I don't know if uninstall/re-install will do anything, but it couldn't hurt (much)
An easier way to test is to do Tools -> Add-ons, "Plugins" section, click on Flash and click the "disable" button, to see if closing Firefox after that still crashes.
