Inappropriate?Hello,
I wanted to check up on a few things. One, who is "they"? Firefox_Answers is not an official representative of Mozilla, but we do have official support at support.mozilla.com. Two, there's no need to remove _all_ your add-ons, but due to the inherent nature of add-ons being built by people who don't talk to each other (and the fact anyone can make them), there will be conflicts (like Twitterfox and Aero Fox, a conflict likely reported to the developer by his users).
However, you should not have to disable ALL your extensions, when that is suggested the idea is to re-enable them one by one until you determine which plugin is causing the problem. If you like, you can use Extension List Dumper and we'll try to see if we can catch an obvious bad add-on, like the Skype add-on.
