Firefox has never closed properly in Vista for STP

I know you're having issues with Firefox, and you may have no desire to find out why it's not working, but I'd be interested in helping determine the cause of the problem. The quickest way to find out if it's an extension or not is to run Firefox in Safe Mode, which, like Windows Safe Mode, disables all non-built-in features and extensions. If it works fine in Safe Mode, there may be a rogue extension or even a conflict between two extensions. The best way to find out what it is is enabling them one by one (an extension rundown ), so you'll have to first disable them all (you don't have to uninstall them) and enable what you would consider to be your "core extensions", the ones you can't live without, and later the ones that you can. When you start seeing the problem again, you've isolated the problematic extension.

We're aware of a few that can cause issues, so a good start is to make your first extension Extension List Dumper and post dumps of your extensions and plugins. I'll see if I notice any obvious ones.
