Firefox printing rubbish
Since upgrading to Firefox 3 we have had to switch to other browsers to print web pages, because we tend to get pages filled with nonsense text printed out. I've searched the web and found many people have similar print problems with FF3, but the only solution suggested on forums etc that sort of works is to disallow websites from setting their own fonts. This is a poor solution which degrades the surfing experience.
Our system is Windows 2000, printer is Epson EPL-5800 Laser printer.
Tried switching encoding to western 1252, changing default serif font to Trebuchet, viewing print preview and printing from there - none of these made a jot of difference.
I've noticed in most of the reports of this problem the OS is Windows 2000, and the printer is a Laser printer.

Inappropriate?Since a bug has already been filed (and you linked it), I suggest that the best way to resolve the issue is to post your experiences in the bug to help us figure out exactly what's causing the problem.
One question, though: are you on the latest printer drivers for your printer?
