Firefox should integrate the crash reporter with the built-in Mac crash reporter
I only noticed that applications could do this when Boxee crashed, and the crash report was sent both to Apple and Boxee. that's so much neater. I reckon firefox should do it :) It just makes sense

Inappropriate?I've actually read a bit about this from developers, I think it was Wil Shipley of Delicious Library that wrote a great article, basically Apple doesn't give developers any way to do this, BUT someone wrote a haxie that can hijack the crash reporter to send it to the developer and Apple. The problem is, it's a haxie (actually an InputManager plugin I believe) and could seriously break things when you update your OS, like from 10.5 to 10.6. I don't know if you recall a previous issue with APE when people upgraded from 10.4 to 10.5, but it basically caused macs to become unbootable.
It's a hack, so it's most likely not going to happen.
Fake edit: It was John Gruber. Here's the article: http://daringfireball.net/2006/01/sma...

Ah, that's a shame. Because to me I thought that was a brilliant idea and all applications should do it. As half the time, it's the software's fault for the crash, not Apple's. So I bet 80% of their crash reports are disregarded.
