Flash Videos not Responding to Mouse Movement when in Full Screen Mode
(Mac OS 10.4.11 Intel, every stable Firefox 3 Release, Firefox 3.1 Beta 1-3, various recent Gecko-based browser releases such as Songbird, Flock, and Camino, was fine in older versions such as Firefox 2)
When in fullscreen mode, flash video fails to detect mouse movement, rendering features like Youtube's volume dial or Vimeo's controls useless unless the escape key (exiting fullscreen mode) or a mouse button is pressed. Safari is my only option if I am to avoid this annoyance.
This bug has been apparent in recent Gecko engine browsers, causing me to suspect that its origin is in the said rendering engine. Although a bug has been filed at bugzilla (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug...), the thread has stagnated, failed to attract the attention of any Mozilla developers and is listed as a PowerPC bug in spite of my experience with this on an Intel Mac.
Any help bringing this to the attention of the folks at Mozilla would be greatly appreciated.

Inappropriate?I'm on 10.5.6 and I remember that happening, but it hasn't happened in a long time. Does it eventually work if you just click click click on the play button? It did for me when I experienced the issue.
I’m sad

Inappropriate?I can work my way around it by clicking, but it never detects mouse movement or hovering while in fullscreen mode. ie., When in fullscreen youtube, I have to click the "mute" button in order to change the volume, thus muting the video until I make my intended volume change. When watching a video on hulu in fullscreen, I have to chose between exiting fullscreen or pausing the video by clicking in order to see the volume controls after their intended initial disappearance.

When you say you can work your way around it by clicking, do you mean repeated clicks on the same button? -
Just one click is all that's needed. It responds normally to mouse clicks; it only fails to recognize mouse movement. -
Inappropriate? This bug seems to be an issue on Adobe's end. Here is its bug tracker page: https://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/FP... I encourage anyone else experiencing this to speak up/lobby there.
I’m frustrated
