How do I make the command I'm about to issue use the currently selected tab in Firefox instead of opening a new one?

Inappropriate?I used a simplified:
Application.activeWindow.activeTab.document.location.href= 'whatever the URL is';

Inappropriate?Makes sense, but I don't know how to make that into a command that could be placed before whatever command I'm going to use to spawn that new tab. Thanks for the reply.
