How can I search for an open Tab in Ubiquity?
As far as I found out the access of window subobject is covered with XPCNativeWrappers. Are there means to find a tab with a certain title anyway?

Inappropriate?Objects are just wrapped when you access them by using the context object (what I did). For access to subobjects try the insecure methods "getWindowInsecure()" and "getDocumentInsecure()" in cmdutils.js.
See posting by Atul Varma:
http://groups.google.com/group/ubiqui...
and general information about the wrapper:

Unfortunately I still haven't found out how to get on to the tabs.
I’m keep going!

Inappropriate?I'm not sure exactly what you want, but tab-command from the default feed "Mozilla Browser Commands" searches through your open tabs by name (and switches to it.)
If you want it to do something else than switch to the tab, you can have a look at Utils.tabs.search() (and other relevant commands in Utils.tabs)

Inappropriate?No, I think you misconceived me: I did not mean the sequence of elements you can access by the tab key.
What I meant was the tab twisters (I think the IE term is register) for multiple pages opened in the same window (German: Reiter, Tabs, Registrierkarte).
Thanks and best regards, Achim Bode
I’m misconceived, but about to clarify...

Inappropriate?Utils.tabs.search():
This function searches for tabs by tab name and returns a hash of tab names to tab references.
so you might get more than one result, if your search term is not specific enough - I'd encourage you to read through the documentation of Utils.tabs for the specifics and/or other tab-related functions
