Localized versions. Attractive and easier for users
So, let's see. What about giving the user an option in about:ubiquity to change his location? I'm from Germany and I don't wanna search on the English wiki or amazon.com. There is de.wikipedia.org and amazon.de. The weather is in Celsius, not Fahrenheit. And also you can add a translation for the Interface, too.
And, at grand final, you can give the hobby "developer" an instruction how to translate ubiquity and the commands. Maybe the commands can be flexible? So I can should be asked is there an Germany Amazon (or an Amazon in my language) and I can say yes, url: amazon.de and the graphical interface do the rest... maybe this works with an second add-on which interested people can use to translate it?
And if a user want to release the trans he can just do it. But please only one per country or so...

It isn't hard to translate or adapt (google.fr instead of google.com) the main commands but i have problems with "define" commands because we don't have a french equivalent of ahttp://services.aonaware.com/DictService/DictService.asmx. Someone can help me ?

Inappropriate?I don't know how to change the official localisation but in the future, if we can change this, it will be better, easier. I modify only domains and services. i will try to put my bluiltincmds.js on a server tomorrow.
I think that my solution is very temporary but it is very useful too.

I've read in one blog of the authors that one developer works on a Japanese version. But how does this works? Is there an extra xpi or an option menu?

Inappropriate?Souli: I wrote a Japanese version of the parser, and localized a couple of commands, as a proof-of-concept. The code for it can be found in ubiquity/chrome/content/nlparser/jp. Unfortunately it has been broken by recent changes to the core logic.
We understand how vital localization is; I'm working on a localization API that will make it easy for community members to localize Ubiq. to their own languages. I'm going to be putting a blog post about this up on http://jonoscript.wordpress.com sometime soon. A first version of the localization API will appear in release 0.1.3 or maybe 0.1.4. If you can hang on until then, I'll be able to provide some documentation and assistance for would-be localizers.
