Inappropriate? This happened to me too with the last update. I even tried uninstalling it, then re-installing it. No luck. I can't spend any more time on this until this problem is fixed.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?I was becoming very dependent on Ubiquity, then all my commands disappeared. I am very interested in trying out Feedly's new Ubiquity integration, but my command list is empty and I have no idea how to recover it.
Thank you for any help you can provide.
I’m sad

Inappropriate?Yeah this is pretty frustrating. I've also come to rely on ubiquity, so finding out that there is no way to reinstall the default commands is really pretty annoying.
Using firefox 3.0.8 on vista sp1 by the way.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate? If anyone has additional information about this bug, could you please add it to the trac ticket here?
http://ubiquity.mozilla.com/trac/ticket/391
I’m hoping we can figure this out.
-
Inappropriate?I've been getting this recently.
I cannot resolve it at all - even after re-installing Ubiquity, the problem still occurs.
If there was some way to add in the built-in commands again it would be really useful.
I've tried deleting anything to do with ubiquity from my hard drive, but it still doesn't make any difference.

Inappropriate?Borque,
Could you provide a little more information?
1. What version of Ubiquity and Firefox are you running? What operating system?
2. Can you still pull up the Ubiquity interface and execute commands? Which commands work?
3. If you can still pull up the interface, does the "help" command work?
4. If you go to about:ubiquity, do you still see the Mozilla commands under "Subscribed Feeds"?
Thanks,
Heather -
Inappropriate?Heather,
1. I'm using Ubiquity 0.1.8 and Firefox 3.0.10.
2. I can still pull the interface up and execute the commands that are present. The only commands now present are ones that I have created using "create-new-search-command", "help", "command-list", "command-editor", "herd" & "skin-list".
3. The "help" command does still work.
4. No, the Mozilla commands are not under "subscribed feeds". Also, if I go to "command list" they are not shown there either.
Cheers,
Mike. -
Inappropriate?Hmmmm.....let's see if you are able to resubscribe to one of the Mozilla feeds.
Try going here:
https://ubiquity.mozilla.com/standard-feeds/firefox.html
and see if the "this page contains Ubiquity commands" message pops up. If that works, you should be able to manually add them.
Thanks for the additional info, I'll add it to the bug report. -
Inappropriate? That allowed me to subscribe to the feed which has then brought back some commands like "zoom", "back", "forward", but not many of the other built in commands like "flickr", "youtube", etc.
I didn't have any option to manually add anything.
However, I then went back up a page in the directory structure of the link that you gave me and went to some of the other pages such as "general.html" / "search.html" / "email.html" etc and I now appear to have nearly all my commands back!
The ones that I notice are still missing are the "Flickr" and "Wikipedia" search commands.
Many thanks,
Mike.
I’m thankful
-
Inappropriate?Ah yes, I meant manually resubscribe to all of them by going to the feed pages.
Here's the search commands feed, which has flickr and wikipedia.
https://ubiquity.mozilla.com/standard-feeds/search.html
I’m happy
-
Inappropriate?Hmmm....it looks like you already resubscribed to that one. I think the wikipedia command has it's own issue. Can you see it if you go to command-list?
-
Inappropriate? All sorted now, I don't think I properly subscribed to the search feed.
Thanks so much for this solution!
Mike.
I’m happy
