Need copy/paste in Ubiquity result window
Need the ability to copy and paste from Ubiquity result window.
An example is with using "map", the resolved address is displayed in the result window, but I'm not able to highlight and copy it into the clipboard (on Windows).
When I use "spell-check" (from the herd commands), I can see the word I want in the result window, but I'm unable to copy it so I can paste it into a document.

Inappropriate?I guess that in theory you would not need copy paste. Insert the result into your work stream should be natural.
Unfortunately, not all commands are prepared to do this. For instance, in every new ubiquity version launch, I edit the get-email command from
displayMessage(name.text);
to
CmdUtils.setSelection(name.text);
Adding the ability to copy/paste is a nice workaround, but I could suggest a broader rule for verbs to be able to chain them and in the end paste in a working area.
I’m confident

Inappropriate?Usability testing has dug up issues with inserting maps and people wanting more persistence. This will be added to that list.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?I've mapped a universal hotkey to always switch to firefox and ubiquity when I hit it now whatever I'm doing, so I've taken to using ubiquity for much more than just in firefox. I use it as a quick translator often but its annoying that I can't select this translation and copy this into another window. This should be added! I dont really understand why it doesn't work now, surely when you have a selection and hit ctrl+c it should copy no matter what program you're in? :S
I’m puzzled

this is one of the best points

Inappropriate?I beg to differ, Fernando. I am having the same problem in Ubuntu. The Ctrl+c command does not work to copy text to the clipboard.
