need task manager to close firefox 3.1b2
I have updated firefox from 3.0.5 to 3.1b2 and since then I have had to use the Task Manager to close Firefox . . . this is a frequent occurrence . . . I have tried the "exit" . . . it closes the Firefox icon from the the task bar but is not closing the process . . .
This is most annoying . . .

Inappropriate?Since this is a beta version and comes with warnings about how it's not ready for prime time, we cannot support it yet. You can downgrade to 3.0.5 in the meantime.
(Also I've not seen a mention of this before so it's probably unique to your system, an issue with your profile, look up 'new profile' on http://support.mozilla.com)

Thank you Thomas . . . I will stay with FF 3.1b2 as I have found it to be quicker than FF 3.0.5 and less cluttered . . . my problem seems to have gone after I did a full CHDisk and DEFRAG . . . Regards, Tim
