Syntax highlighting or external editor for commands?
I love the convenience of having the command editor right in the browser and not needing to save or recompile to try out my commands, but having a giant text field for editing code is not the most convenient thing in the world. What about using an external editor to write commands? Could they be saved to a file that Ubiquity would scan when it is invoked? Or is there a better source-code editing component that could be used instead of a plain text field?

Inappropriate?I also am a little confused as to why Ubiquity has a command which lets you syntax-highlight selected text, but then the command editor doesn't? That seems odd. Also, I wonder why there is no provision to 'save as draft.' Maybe I'm asking a bit much? But it seems like it would be a useful feature. Maybe it could be an optional plug-in for those who want it? Or maybe it could interface with the DOM inspector, Firebug, or Web Developer extensions? That way you could add the functionality without making the core product too bloated?
I’m undecided

Inappropriate? Thanks for the feedback! We're working on a number of improvements to the command editor. In 0.1.2, Ubiquity will have the ability to save to a file, open code in a external editor and to directly paste to Github. Syntax highlighting and tabs are features that'll probably be included in the future.
I’m excited
