Inappropriate?Sounds good. I'm sure there are many many more, but these are good commands that really fit in with Ubiquity's main and original purpose.

Inappropriate? While these aren't necessarily bad ideas for commands, I'm not quite sure they should be built-in commands, if that's what you were suggesting. Many of them are just too specific. With that kind of specificity, there would be no end to the commands included and Ubiquity would just become bloated and annoying to use.
However, I do think many of them would make good commands, just not included-by-default commands,

this is one of the best points

Inappropriate?I fully agree with Brian Seeders, I would need none of this 10 commands and would be happy if they arent already installed with ubiquity. But as subscribable feeds they wouldn't bother me of course.

Inappropriate?One of the functions here already exist: directions from {location} to {location}

Inappropriate?All good, except...
3. official {team name} - provides official team site probably via google search
Searching for {team name} should get the official site in the 1st or 2nd result
4. hotel {hotel name} - provides review from reputable website like tripadvisor
8. cnet {name of product, software} - to provide review from cnet website
Why not a more extendable review verb? "review hilton hotel" or "review cannon camera".
I’m looking forward to using ubiquity for even more
-
Inappropriate? The top of your list is "time in {location}". Something close is available: "time at {timezone}", over at http://www.jpemartin.com/ubiq/time.html
-
Inappropriate?I think the "map-this" command needs to be able to be localised. I live in UK and it won't map my home town as it searches USA instead :(
I’m neglected!

Inappropriate?rossco, you can create most of these comands easily.. that's the beauty of ubiquity!
get informed and do it. if everyone got every search command they wanted ubiquity would consume more than firefox itself, so leave it up to each user to add that command or not.
