Ubiquity at hand while working on a document?
We are seeing continued efforts to integrate the desktop with internet.
I don ́t know why ubiquity can go in that direction, also.
I would love to have all the functions of my computer commanded with ubiquity.
For example, i'm using open office, typing a document, and I want to check my calendar.
Why should I have to go to firefox?
Instead, let me press ctrl space inside open office, and get the ubiquity box.
Or in any other program.
Or what about sending the document I'm working on as an email with ubiquity?
I think that would be something really easy for you computer wizards to achieve.
Also, ubiquity should have, in this context, limited browsing capabilities, so I could send a brief search (perhaps for the text of a law...I'm a lawyer...maybe a definition of a word) and have it searched right there, wiht the posibility of pasting the result in my work...
Ok, not groundbreaking idea, nobody ́s going to start a theocracy around me for it, but having ubiquity at my disposal when I'm working on a document without having to open the browser would be something I would thank for.

Inappropriate?Sorry for the bad english. I'm argentinean. I meant "can't", not "can".
Also, I was thinking about more commands, not the ones already in ubiquity.
I mean, having ubiquity as it is while I'm not using firefox and capable of working inside desktop applications would be great.
But that would be only step one.
Also, I would be great to have it all integrated, having like a dialog box with your computer...what about "print 2 copies"? or "send email to...and also print 2 copies?
That's what I'm talking about. Kinda. -
