Ubiquity creates 10 empty master passwords prompts at startup
Hi, I have Firefox 3.0.6 and Ubiquity 0.1.5 installed.
I store my proxy's password and I have a master password set.
When I start Firefox with Ubiquity installed, I am prompted for master password and an other small empty prompt opens about 10 times:
Whatever I do with this nameless prompt (enter password, press OK or cancel) it opens the proxy authentication prompt.
So when I start Firefox, I have hit to cancel 20 times before I enter my master password and then my proxy password.
If I uninstall Ubiquity, problem disappears.
Thanks for your help!

Inappropriate? This is an old Firefox bug still unfixed unfortunately https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug...
Luckily, it's fixed by using the startupmaster extension here:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fire... -
Inappropriate?Hi patcito, and thanks! startupmaster solved the master password problem, only 1 prompt at startup now! (couldn't test earlier at work)
But I still get a lot of proxy authentication prompts...
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?Hey Noz, you can install the AutoAuth, it will automatically accept authentication prompts https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fire...
-
Inappropriate?Hi patcito, AutoAuth was a good idea but it doesn't work. I still have to validate each prompt myself.
I think i'll let it go and forget about it :) -
Inappropriate?I believe this is this bug:
https://ubiquity.mozilla.com/trac/ticket/628
And it should be fixed in 0.1.8.

Inappropriate?Yay! Fixed in 0.1.8!
I think it was a combination of bugs #420 and #628
Thanks for the update Heather :)
