Ubiquity suggestions with respect to Launchy.
I've been thinking about some of the similarities between Ubiquity and Launchy, and I think each project could benefit from the other. A quick overview: Both projects are based on the "type what you want to do" idea, both include capability for creating custom commands and command types.
Since this is the Mozilla section, the Ubiquity suggestion first. The command interpreter used in Launchy is extremely clever, in that it "learns", can recognise commands from any part of the name, and has an effective "Do What I Mean" system. This system can at the least provide inspiration for the one to be used in the final versions of ubiquity.
Entirely separately, a plugin for launchy to enable integration with ubiquity would be a way to make things easier, and would help to avoid hotkey conflicts such as one already mentioned here.

Launchy is my most important productivity aid, it has changed the way I work in a similar way to google search.
I have used goosh and Yubnub, yahoo pipes and several similar utilities, but none have the potential of ubiquity.
If we could wrap the two together to better integrate the web and desktop it would be truly awesome

Inappropriate? We have a ton of parser improvements in the works for Ubiquity 0.1.2, including learning from your chosen completions and recognizing commands from any part of the name.
I definitely like the idea of integrating launchy and ubiquity!
I’m excited

EXACTLY! -
you can think also Google Mashup Editor (http://code.google.com/gme/) -
Inappropriate?Don't forget Quicksilver and/or Google Quick Search Box for Mac users. FYI, they're basically the same as Launchy.
I’m excited

Also GNOME Do for those using it on Linux-based platforms.
