Uniquity email command results in HTML displayed as text in Gmail
Ubiquity email command transfers highlighted text/pictures as HTML, but Gmail presents it as text (as opposed to translating the HTML into something representing what was highlighted). Any ideas?

Inappropriate?I have this problem as well. I don't usually use Gmail's web interface, so I'm not sure if there's an easy way around this.

Inappropriate?Ditto same problem here. And if I highlight something the email created is just a generic link to the page

Inappropriate?I had the same problem: it seems that this happens when you don't have GMail already open in one tab/window! Because I tried it again when I had Gmail opened in one tab and it worked! Except for displaying images though ...

I can confirm this. Unfortunately, I never have a tab with gmail open :( -
Yeah this work around works for me too. Having gmail open in a tab will bring up the picture and links fine. But like you I don;t always have gmail open -
agree!!
For me if gmail tab isn't open already command email not compose my selected text :( -
Inappropriate?+1 Has a bug report been submitted? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Inappropriate?I too, have found that this function works wonderfully when GMail is already open in a tab; however I don't like to have a tab open all the time for GMail!
Once the new tab opens with the html translated as text, any further things that you add to the message will be inserted correctly! I tried following the tutorial and inserted a few paragraphs into the email -> they showed up as text-transcribed HTML. Then I tried highlighting some text and using the map function, which inserted an actual map into the message contents, so it can't be that HTML composure is turned off.... (I think this is a limitation in GMail revolving around sending html pre-formatted messages through a link-like format?)

Inappropriate?Since this is a bit of the flag-ship command in Ubiqitous please fix it. This would generate alot people starting to use (and then contrib,) to the whole thing.

Inappropriate?Ubiquity 0.5.4., "email this" doesn't work with pictures at all. Gmail is opened in separate tab. Previously (0.1.something) this feature worked fine, and it was one of the most useful tools for me... :(
