Definitely: fully integrate with Thunderbird
I would definitely like to see some external application launching ability.
Personally, I'd like to be able to Ubiq:
email MESSAGE from x to Sarah
and have Thunderbird appear, select my inbox/account that most closely matches x, and compose an email containing MESSAGE to the person on my contacts list who most closely matches Sarah.
But that's just me. I'd really love to see Ubiquity go a lot farther in the realm of all in one linguistic computing. But I'll settle for Thunderbird integration for a start.

Inappropriate? In addition to the above idea (already mentioned in the Ubiquity Command Suggestions), it would be great if the default calendaring option could be Lightning. Same as current scheduling options, but on my local hard drive using Lightning.

Inappropriate? Can XULRunner apps share their API's? or give Ubiquity access to cross-app functionality?
I don't know the technical hurdles that will likely have to be overcome to build a Thunderbird Ubiquity command, but if the foundation were something that could extend to other XULRunner apps (Lightening, Songbird, etc) the potential usage would be much greater.
I’m looking forward to this!

Inappropriate?when ubiquity works with thunderbird, it would be worth using, IMHO.

Inappropriate? There is a super experimental version of Ubiquity for Thunderbird.
Also, since 0.1.7, you can drag and drop from the Ubiquity preview to anywhere else. This means you can theoretically use the email command, then drag the preview to Thunderbird.
