incoming mail timing out
I'm having problems with incoming mail timing out on Verizon.

Inappropriate?I have also tried to lengthen the time from 60 seconds, to 120, 180 and up to 500 seconds, that don't work.
Also yesterday I was informed by Verizon support that they don't support Thunderbird Mail. So I guess I need to look for a different mail program. -
Inappropriate?I've had this problem too. Went from Thunderbird 2.0.0.22 to Thunderbird 3 beta 4 and left all the settings the same, and am suddenly getting timeout messages on incoming.verizon.net. I tried switching to SSL and using port 995 and still get the same timeout message.

Inappropriate?I have this problem as well. Usually if I close out and go back in, it works but not always. Sometimes I have to input my password. Today, I've tried half a dozen times but still can't get in.
