Mac User: No Thunderbird folder visible in my Library, 2GB of email on HD, hidden where?
I cannot find my Thunderbird profile at all on my HD. I run Mac OS 10.5.5 and Mozilla Thunderbird 2.0.0.21. I read the online Help about T-bird profiles (which supposedly include Mail), but the problem is, when searching my Hard Drive, I cannot find any Thunderbird folders in my Library or Application folders. Only the Thunderbird program shows up. I have over 27,000 emails (more than 2 GB) stored in a folder on my HD, whose name is visible within Thunderbird, but I cannot find the folder on internal HD to back it up on external HD. I am sure the data are on my HD, because I can move messages from my AOL IMAP online folder to my own local HD folder. But I cannot find these messages. Please help. Macs do not have "hidden files" like PCs, do they?

Inappropriate? You might have checked in the wrong Library, NOT the Library on your Hard Drive!
You have to click on the little House > Library > Thunderbird > Profiles
