Thunderbird not opening links. Opens firefox instead.
I had set Firefox as my default browser and Thunderbird as my default email client and since I downloaded Thunderbird 2, I have to keep going into program access and defaults and re-set them as my defaults every time I go to open a link in Thunderbird.
My email links don't open to the web page intended. It instead open a new Firefox browser page.

Inappropriate? If you set any browser ( IE ) as default browser in your system and then set it back to Firefox again, does the problem go away?
-
No, it does not help. I tried this and I still have the same problem.
I did find however that if I leave Firefox open then go to Thunderbird and open a link in my email then I can get that web page. I should not have to open my browser first in order to do so. This problem needs to be fixed. -
Inappropriate?I'm not sure how you tried to set FF as default browser.
Some standard ways are suggested here which you can follow
