This data would be more relevant if you filtered out non-person twitter users. Examples: cnnbrk, rtm, mymilemarker.

Inappropriate?I would suggest a filter that the user can set rather than just filtering out all non-person twitter users. Some of the time I will want recomendations that are specific to non-persons and other times I could see stripping them out.

Inappropriate?This is exactly the idea I came here to suggest. I like John's idea because I would not only want to block non-human tweeters like #hashtag or woot.com, but maybe some less personal or incredibly popular tweeters like Barack Obama, Joe Biden, etc who tend to "auto-follow" back. It doesn't give me a lot of information if they follow everyone and the top 10 people on my list all follow them, to the exclusion of seeing anyone else.
