MuveeReveal Won't Save Projects Properly, and Shows Odd Watermarks...
Oh my god. Okay. For a little background, our company has worked with the people at Muvee to allow us to change some of the basic coding of the program so it better fits our needs until a "pro" version comes out. The only thing we've done coding-wise is editing the styles and themes that come along with the program. Nothing that should have changed actual program function.
When we go to save a muvee, it plays fine, but we get an odd watermark on some of the photos. It shows text across a photo, that seems to say something about the kind of camera. The text was not on any of the original pictures, and we can't seem to get it to go away.
The second problem is that after saving a movie, and saving all of the sound, pictures, etc - upon closing and re-opening the program, we can re-load the movie, it previews alright, but when we try to actually PLAY the movie, all of the photos have disappeared! It pops up an error after loading, saying "Please add movies/pictures." or something to that effect. If it deleted our project somehow, that's 2 hours work of work from our Graphics department down the drain. Help?
And YES, we have the latest versions of MuveeReveal and AutoProducer.

Inappropriate?Hello HisPerfectViolet,
The first problem you are experiencing is easy to fix. What you are seeing is actually a feature that we have called automatic captions.
Here's how to fix it:
1. Locate the picture on your hard-drive.
2. Right-click on the image and select 'Properties'.
3. Click on the 'Details' tab
4. You will see a box named 'Comments'.
5. Delete its contents.
We added this feature because some people sometimes put comments about their images in the 'comment' tag of their image.
In your case, it looks like your camera wrongly inserted some data there. -
Inappropriate?Your second problem is a little bit hard to understand.
I'll repeat it to make sure we're on the same page.
1. You are using muvee Reveal only.
2. You created a project with pictures, video and music.
3. You saved your project by clicking on 'File' >> 'Save Project'
4. You pressed the 'Play' button and you saw the proper output on the screen.
5. You saved your muvee.
6. Then you closed the application.
7. You opened the application again and you tried to load the original project.
8. The application failed to load the project.
Ok if that's the case:
1. Was your media on a portable drive that was disconnected?
2. Have you changed the location of the media?
Do let me know if I have not properly formulated your second problem.

Hello chetan! Thanks so much for giving me a hand with this. Your idea to remove the comments from a picture worked - so did just disabling the auto-comments feature.
As for the second problem ... that is pretty much dead on, only - as I think I failed to detail - around step 8, it will indeed load the project. Only it will have music, but no pictures. Or pictures, but no title screen. Or a title screen and pictures, and no music. It seems to lose one or more elements of the project.
As far as your questions go:
1. No, our media is not saved on a portable drive.
2. No, we haven't changed the location of the media.
These were, in fact, the first things I checked. Thanks for any further! -
Inappropriate? This is very strange. I looks like you project file got corrupted.
Could you please email me your .rvl file at chetan AT muvee DOT com
I'll have a look at it.
I’m thankful
