My Muvee Producer6 is mute!!!! Help!!!
I am trying to connect a JVC Digital Video camera model # GR-D270U by using an VideoExpress ADS Tech AV converter to USB into my computer. I am getting the the image but not the sound from the original movie. On 5.0 producer I could get both the video and the sound through this setup but since I had Vista, It would crash evey time that I would try to capture the file. So now I am using a trial version of 6.0 and I have picture and no sound. I do not care to put other music to it right now. I am trying to get movies off of the digital tapes and capture them as media files on my PC. My impression of this soft ware is that you produce only image from one medium and attach music to it. Am I trying to use this software incorrectly?

Inappropriate?Hi Mark,
Can you please check whether have you made the below changes:
-> From muvee autoProducer 6 main screen, click on the adjust audio mix level button -> move the slider under video soundtrack to the highest level
You may also check the menu of the of camcorder for the output of the video file.
If the above is done and still do not have sound, then your video files could be embedded with Dobly_AC3 and therefore, muvee autoProducer 6 do not support these files at the moment. However, our latest product - muvee Reveal supports it. I recommend that you try to download the trial version from our website at: www.muvee.com

Inappropriate?Why don't you just import the file , seperate from Muvee with other tools to figure out where your problem is, or at least as a workaround?
