Reveal muvee inverts video clips from Vado HD
In Reveal (Build 42) when creating a muvee to share (Share muvee) all video clips are inverted during both the rendering process as well as the final muvee.
The video clips are correctly displayed when putting the muvee together and previewing it, but the render process flips all videos from a Vado HD upside down regardless of the target (DVD, HD, iPod, etc).
Please help. The Reveal product has a great feature set and corresponding price point, but this bug makes it unusable.
Tried to include a PNG image of the problem, but received this error:
"TypeError: 'responseText' is null or not an object"

We have released the latest build [2128] of muvee Reveal that contains many fixes related to saving,burning issues,saved muvees playing upside down problem, etc. Could you please try to reinstall the program and make your muvees again. -

Inappropriate?I have attached a patch with a fix for this issue. May I request you to try it out and tell us whether your projects work again?
To install the patch -
1) Download the patch from the link below:
ftp://muveeUserMedia:UM12oPLkadtunb9@ftp.muvee.com/common.zip
2) Unzip the attached "common.zip" file anywhere.
3) Right click on the common.bat and choose "Run as administrator"
3) Then try making your muvees again. -

Can you please check whether you are using the latest build[2128]. From muvee Reveal main screen, click 'Help' -> 'about muvee Reveal'). This issue has been resolved in our latest release. -
Inappropriate?Unfortunately, the patch did not seem to do anything. I did notice that VGA displays correctly, but the HD clips are inverted.

Inappropriate?I've attached a debug tool which will generate a log file to help us in our further investigation. Need your co-operation to perform the below:
** please ensure reveal is close before proceeding with the below steps **
Test 1
1) Download the file muvee.zip from the link below.
ftp://muveeUserMedia:UM12oPLkadtunb9@ftp.muvee.com/muveeDebug.zip
2) Unzip the muvee.zip file on your desktop (you will see muvee.bat file after unzip)
3) After unzippping the file, double click on muvee.bat to launch it(this operation takes around 30seconds to 50seconds)
4) This will automatically create the folder C:\muveeDebug ( and will collect some of your system configuration information into the file)
Test 2
1) Launch muveeReveal again
2) Make muvee using your own media
3) Save it into any format
4) Please take the snapshot of the application showing the inverted video (http://www.wikihow.com/Take-a-Screens...)
5) Then please send me all the files under C:\muveeDebug. ( better way is to create the zip file of complete folder and send me zip file) and snapshot.

( C:\ProgramData\muvee Technologies\071203\preview ) and delete all the files inside this folder. Now load again your mov files and let me know if you still see inverted thumbnails.
If thumbnails are still inverted; is it possible for you to upload any of your .mov files so we can try to reproduce same problem on our side -
Inappropriate?Still no luck. For anyone considering buying this, I'd avoid it if using Flip, Creative Vado, or Kodak Zi6. It's taken me 10 days and still no solution.

Inappropriate?what i understand from your problem statement while making muvee using your .mov files preview is fine but final output when saving muvee and thumbnail generated are upside down please correct me if i am wrong.
Log files that you sent us last time doesn't show the saving session or you might have relaunch the muveeReveal again before sending us the log files for the saving session which will actually overwrite the log files.
Can you please launch muveeReveal load any of your .mov file which you think will result in same problem make muvee and then save it into wmv format.
If possible take the screenshot while preview and saving then please send me back complete C:\muveeDebug folder along with these two scrennshot.
I will try my best to get the things work for you asap -
Inappropriate?Has this problem been fixed yet? I would love to purchase Muvee, but I can't spend the money if the Vado HD movie files don't display properly. I have already spent hours trying to get it to work... which a discount would be nice. But I can't buy a program only to work on it myself. I'm sure that other Vado users feel the same way.
