Reveal on Windows 7?
Cannot install Reveal on Windows 7 RC1. Every other program I've tried installs no problem. It states that my graphics driver needs to be updated before the install can continue. I checked Intel, and Windows 7 comes with an even more updtaed driver then the one currently available for Vista.
Chipset is Intel Mobile 965 Express chipset family. Driver version I'm running is 8.15.10.1662. The most recent driver available for Vista is 7.15.10.1666.
If I could get it installed, it might actually run. Anyone got Reveal running on Windows 7 RC1?

Inappropriate?Hi Jim, our developers has checked the Intel site (http://downloadcenter.intel.com) and it seems like doesn't have the Windows 7 driver for "Intel Mobile 965" or "Intel® 82Q965 Graphics/Desktop".
One thing you can try if you haven't done so, is to upgrade the video driver via Windows itself:
Steps:
a) Right click "My Computer" and choose "Manage";
b) In System Tools-> Device Manager, double click on your "Display adapters";
c) Click Driver tab;
d) Click Update Driver;
e) Select "Search automatically for updates..." and Next.
That is the only resolution I have for Windows 7. Let me know how it goes. Thanks!
I’m confident

Inappropriate?Jim, are you using 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows 7?
Btw, we are able to run Reveal on Windows 7 with ATI and NVIDIA graphics cards, but not with Intel chipset.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?YihYeong, thanks for replying. I'm using the 32 bit version of Windows 7.
You are correct, there is no driver on the Intel site for this new OS. Windows 7 itself comes with a driver for the Intel Chipset which is a later version than what Intel currently has for Vista (see driver versions in org post).
I think I'll try putting in the latest Intel Vista driver (7.15.10.1666), and see what happens. -
Inappropriate?That worked. Rolling back the driver to the Intel Vista one let me install the program, and it runs OK. Now to evaluate it.

Great! :D -
Inappropriate?I rolled back to an earlier driver but was having rendering problems with the muvee screens. The only thing that worked were the beta drivers for Windows 7 from Intel for my G33 chipset.

Have you updated the drivers to the latest and try again? try downloading the latest from the ATI website. -
Inappropriate?I had same problem in my hp 2006 desktop.
so what i did intel online driver check will give u wrong information about driver as mentioned in question. so open site of intel and serch your chipset driver directly and download to resolve the issue.
