How to delete a jpg file

I saved jpgs from posting to my blog and kept putting them inside a folder and making a new folder. When I went to delete the excess folders my laptop will not let me delete.

I followed directions to go to windows and deleted prefetch but it did not delete the folder.

Now what do I do?????? Please help.

I may have further questions in the near future.
