Inappropriate?@rolly - could you please be more specific with your problems? All Globe Load denominations have validity periods, thus all unused prepaid credits will expire depending on their validity date, whether you still have P1 or even P500.
@Francis - how often have you encountered this problem? It would be easy if you could provide the Reference# from the retailer -

Hi Francis, the retailer will be able to verify if the load transfer was successfull or not; the retailer may call the AMAX hotline. He/She should also be able to check her load wallet if the deductions are correct. You may also email custhelp@globetel.com.ph with the details so we can verify if the transfer was indeed successful. Please indicate your mobile number, date of reload and the amount reloaded. :) -
Inappropriate?Thank you for your response but I am already satisfied with your answers. Maybe, it is a lesson for those people trusting Globe too much. This was not the first time it happen, I have a Globe prepaid account and I am using the ETXT promo, I just send 20 messages and after that, the ETXT has gone. I hope Globe Telecom sees to it that everything is working well technically.

Inappropriate?I think Globe must be customer-friendly esp. to us loyal and long time subscribers of their company. And you know what? Globe eats my load again and asked for CS to help me on what to do. This happen every time I buy a call card and load up. If I do have load, 29343 is keep on sending me messages saying..."You have new MMS message. Retrieve it from http://www.myglobe.com.ph MMS section. From 2346. Password phaushy Sbj. Top true diva. Message expires after 24 hours." The CS representative apologized for the inconvenience but I do not need the apology, all I want is for them to fix the problem. He asked me to check if I subscribed to any promos from 2346, and told him that I do not remember subscribing to any promos since it will just cost me a lot...Like what's happening to me now wherein Globe eats my load! Anyways, just to fix everything I asked the CS representative on what to do and he immediately give me instructions only to find out that I have two subscriptions, one is this TOPTRUEDIVA, adding to my frustration, I haven’t subscribe to any promos nor letting other people use my phone. I replied to the same number (STOP TOPTRUEDIVA to 2346) and received a confirmation that I was unsubscribed. I thought everything is ok now, but just this morning 29343 sent me messages again (around 10 messages with the same info/text) and these messages charged my account. Tsk! Well, what will I do now? I already followed the instructions but then, nothing happened. All I want is to STOP this mess...Otherwise, I will just subscribe to other NETWORK that won't give me any INCONVENIENCES and definitely not a THIEF!

To check your subscriptions, just send CHECK to the 4-digit access number sending you the alerts. You shall receive a text message indicating the service where you are subscribed to. The proper keyword to unsubscribe is also indicated in the reply message. Kindly follow the exact keyword to unsubscribe. You shall receive a confirmation message regarding the status of the subscription. Please note that the keyword “CHECK” is applicable to the following access numbers only: 2363, 2346, 2375, 2345, 2949, 2910, 2922, 2954, 2978, 2880, 2929, 2344, 2364 and 2366. Have you read my message? I think I explained everything there. All I want is to make sure that the subscriptions that I have are already cancelled. I also asked the CSR to do it for me but he doesn't exert an effort to do so. He give me instructions like you did and let me do it manually instead and didn't even care to get my digits to do the necessary actions. Anyways, 29343 is not sending me notifications at the moment, maybe because I decided not to load up? If you really wanted to help out, just tell me what to do. Thanks! -

29343 is not sending any notifications at the moment. But I'm not sure about this. Hopefully this won't happen again. -

Inappropriate?I really hate the number (29343) that keeps on sending me that I can retrieve my free MMS message via http://www.myglobe.com.ph MMS section. Every time I receive these messages (often sent more than 5 times), it charges to my account. Every single peso is important to me so I decided to seek for an assistance of their customer service representative to help me out. I followed every single instruction pero hindi pa rin tumitigil mag-send ng MMS retrieval messages yung 29343. I can't remember subscribing to any promos of Globe kaya I feel upset about it...Hope your system could fix everything...Dahil I already did my part manually. So I think this is your call now...

hi! The access number 29343 is an MMS notification reminder for non-MMS mobile phone users. In cases when a mobile phone does not meet the requirements for him to be able to receive an MMS, he will receive a text from 29343 with instructions on how to retrieve the MMS sent to his Mobile Phone.The following conditions should however be met for a subscriber to receive an MMS:
a. The handset used is MMS-capable.
b. Account is MMS configured.
c. Configuration to retrieve MMS is set to automatic (check message settings).
d. Handset had strong signal at the time or wasn’t turned off.
e For prepaid Accounts, load must not fall below P25.00
f. phone has sufficient memory space. -
Hi there! I do not want those MMS, I just wanted to extract my number from thses promos that I never subscribed to. I followed the instructions of your CSR on how I will cancel the subscriptions and also received a confirmation from 2346 that it is already cancelled. But 29343 is still sending me MMS retrieval messages that keep on deducting my load every message sent. -

other than that, i have subscribed for the FREE RINGBACK TONE that was available in GPRS. but after 3 days, it keeps on deducting about 15 to 25 load. it keeps on renewing and renewing. i called customer service and was disappointed when she said that i dont have an active ringback tone in my number. there's nothing to cancel since i dont have one.
but when my friends call me, they can hear my ringback tone. so, i buy a new sim (starter sim) to avoid those MMS and RINGBACK thing from deducting my load. -
Hi. You can actually unsubscribe from RBT by texting UNSUBSCRIBE to 2332 for free. Please note that free RBT usually have a promo period. It is usually free for the first three days. This is indicated in the text notification when you availed the free offer. If you do not want to be charged, you need to unsubscribe before the free offer expires. -
Inappropriate?it happened again .. globe eats up my load again !! i think around 7PM , nag pa-Load ako .. and after i receive the load .. nag subscribe ako sa UNLITXT .. after i receive the confirmation massage that i can already use it , nag-send ako ng massage , but it failed !! i try to sent it again and again , it failed .. at that time i already have 0.balance coz i already subscribe at globe UNLITXT .. kala ko un ung reason , so nag pa-Load uLit ako ..to be exact P20 .. i think its already quarter to 9PM nung nag pa-Load uLit ako , not sure , at that time na na-receive ko ung load , naka UNLITXT na ko .. and may P20 load pa ko .. i know na unLi na , coz when i try to send A massage , it send ! and hindi rin nabawasan ung load ko .. so UNLI na nga ko ... after a few minutes , i was about to send a massage to my mom .. it failed again !! i decided to check my balance .. and i was shock ! wala na naman load !!! i ask CS and they said that i need to wait until 7PM tomorrow , before they do any action ! if nothing happened , that was the time that i need to call them again !! pano naman ngayon ?! wala akong load , so ano un ?! kaylangan ko na naman mag pa-load ???!!!!

Inappropriate?Hi. 29343 cannot be unsusbcribed. Your phone must meet the requirements to receive MMS if you do not want to receive alerts from 29343. If you are subscribed to any service which sends MMS, this has to be unsubscribed if you want to stop receiving the alerts. You may refer to the posts above (reply to Sheryl) for details. You may also request for the unsubscription from access numbers, but we will need your mobile number/s to be able to process that. :)

Inappropriate?I have the same problem too. Globe is just eating my load. Yesterday, I loaded my cellphone with 300 php worth of load. Then I tried texting one of my classmate and check my balance. I was surprised that they deducted 13php for a text. I was like, okay its happening again. So what I did i registered to Unlitxt80. After few hours, I was texting another classmate of mine and check my balance I was surprised again that my 207 php lowd is being deducted. Right now, my load is 177. I don't know what's happening! I didn't suscribe to any fancy subscription of somesort. PLEASE HELP!

Inappropriate?Hey. I have the same problem. Globe is eating up (/stealing?) my load. I had an eload of PhP30 this afternoon. I didn't do anything to have my load deducted, like, send a text message or use WAP, 3G, etc for example. I did try to call someone, but he didn't pick-up so I assume that still nothing should be deducted from my load, right? Also, I'm not receiving any message from those access numbers you're saying. But earlier, I checked my load and it said that only PhP15 balance is remaining. WTF? And then, just now, I checked it again and guess what, I have ZERO balance!! What the hell is this Globe?? Why are you ripping-off your subscribers?? Is there any way to get my PhP30 back?? Pfft. I guess not, huh. Still, I better hear an explanation about this.
Just this week it was in the news that even the Hon. Enrile got the same treatment from you guys. As much as I hate him for being a former Marcos lapdog and trapo that he is, I'm totally backing him up on having Globe reps grilled in a Senate hearing. Looking forward to that. Till then, keep stealing from us and we're gonna see heads roll. -

Dear Sir,
Many of us are unguided regarding the rules of the commission for use of wifi, spread spectrum, DSSS and FHSS for indoor and outdoor use. some say that it needs license and permits from NTC but some say it doesn't. i've searched the commission's website for the MC and i found MC-09-09-2003 which does not requires permit for indoor and MC-06-08-05 which generally allocates the frequency of 2400-2485 MHz and some at 5GHz to broadband wireless access.
What we know is that if we bought the unit that utilizes Wifi or FHSS from e-bay, it should be "type approved" and should have permit to import from NTC. And if we bought a unit from a dealer here in the philippines and will be used for outdoor use. is there any other permits we need?

To tell you Globe Customer Service dito sa middle like, Bahrain Telecom or Zain Mobile ay hindi nawawala ang load kahit nage-expire. kapag nagload ka madadagdag lang yun sa bago mong load. Dapat yan ang ginagawa ng mga telcos sa atin dahil yan ang tama. Kung kaya gawin dito dapat ginagawa rin diyan sa pinas.
Dapat mabigyan pansin ito ng NTC. Kaso baka natatapalan sila ng mga telcos. Malakas ba naman magnakaw lalo na ang Globe so malaki ang maitatapal sa kanila kaya wala silang ginagawa.
Tsaka walang automatic subscription dito. Malinaw na Panloloko at Pagnanakaw yan.
Calling NTC sana bigyan niyo naman ng aksyon ito. Tagalog na yan sana maintindihan na nila.

Inappropriate?My load was also drained for the fourth time in 2 months. I am furious since I live alone and far from my family and I need my load to call them in case of an emergency. My number is new and I did not subscribe to any promos. My load usually vanishes 2 days after I reload. If this happens again I will have to transfer to smart along with all my family members.

If you think that your load was deducted other than expiring, we suggest you have the charging checked. Inappropriate?Hi All. We wish to confirm that GLobe does not automatically subscribe users to the access numbers. Subscription can only be activated through the SIM card. Since there is an activation procedure, there is also a deactivation process to protect our subscribers. Thank you.

Inappropriate?Good to hear that Juan, for the info of everybody, nagamit ko ng matagal yung ofw smart sim ko kahit initial 300 lang niload ko before ng flight ko at nagamit ko siya ng 10 months na hindi pinuputol ng smart at tuloy-tuloy na nakakareceive ng text dahil yun ang importante sa akin. And imagine, di ko siya niloadan after nun basta above 100 lang balance. unlike for globe, deactivated ka kaagad after mag-expire ang load mo at di ka na makakareceive ng text at wala ka n signal agad. At isa pa, kapag nawalan ng load yung family sim card na nasa pinas putol din signal mo kahit meron ka pa balanse. saklap nun nung nangyari yun sa akin at para akong mabaliw .
at malala pa nadiscover ko yun nung nagbakasyon ako after 2 years....wala kasi silang sinasabi at nakakabuwisit pa dahil kailangan mo pang idiscover pa.
Now, bumili uli ako ng bagong smart sim at ganun uli gagawin ko.
Ang hindi ko pa matanggap ngayon ay nakatali ako sa globe internet ng 1 more year dahil sila yung nauna maglagay ng connection sa lugar namin. Pero next year ipapaputol ko na agad talaga ang globe internet ko. Katulan niyan meron ako nabalitaan na mabilis daw yung bagong ilalabas ng pldt. Aabangan ko na yan.

Hi Juan! There is a phone virus which affects series 60 Nokia phones. The malware attempts to spread from an infected mobile device using two methods:MMS and bluetooth.INfected handsets may be brought to the nearest Nokia Care center for virus removal. Another virus is the Hati-Hati. This is a worm-like application that spreads via MMC cards. Once the worm copies itself to a new device, it starts sending very high volume SMS messages to a pre-defined number. Hatihati affects phones running Symbian S60 2nd edition. -
Inappropriate?To those who are not subscribed to any four digit numbers yet your load keeps disappearing, you can try having your cellphone reformatted because it may have a virus. That's what the smart customer service adviced me because my smart load keeps disappearing too. I had my cellphone reformatted at Nokia Care and guess what, IT WORKED!!! I'll try it on my Globe sim too
Before my loads disappeared, I remember having someone bluetooth me a Katrina Halili - Hayden Kho video.

Inappropriate?To custhelp, I take back what I said about globe. I now believe you're not entirely to blame, except for the unwanted subscriptions. The problem is, why haven't someone from Globe suggested that when irate customers slam their cellphones in disgust??

Inappropriate?I have contacted Globe Customer Service 3 times on three separate occasions to report that my load has been depleted, for no apparent reason. Strangely, the third representatie was rather surprised that it was my third call. I do not know a single globe subscriber that has not experienced this at least once. They always return the load they took, however it takes 24-48 hours (just like they say it will). By the time I recieve it, I will have already purchased more load to call whoever I need to call. And I would be lucky if they leave me enough load to be able to call them... I know it doesn't cost money to call them, but you do need a certain amount for any outbound call.
The representatives all inform me that in Globe there should be no deductions if there are no transactions. Maybe they are right, however I have an event log i my phone and there have been no transactions at all at the time that the load was deducted, and the figures are not constant nor exact: 12, 17, 15, 19, etc... Sometimes as small as 5 or 4, but I cannot imagine calling in almost everyday for that amount, seeing that it costs more to maintain like 6 or 8 to be able to call.
About the viruses, are Nokia 7610's affected?...
My boyfriend has the same exact issue but he uses a Motorola razr --- forgot the model name.
Not that I blame Globe as I work for Technical Support, I know things can get weird sometimes. And sadly most of these phone representatives are just told to say what they are saying --- talkin to them is still miles away from talking to the company itself.

There are actually only 3 reasons for load deduction 1) a transaction has been made whether intentionally or not as there are cases when the keypads are accidentally pressed. 2) you are subscribed to a service and 3) load expiration. Yes, the N7610 can get affected by phone viruses since this is a series 60 phone. We currently do not have any reported virus that affects Motorola handsets.

Inappropriate?Everytime na nagload ako ay kasabay magsend sa akin ang 2346 nga kahit ano hanggang nauubos ang load. First load ako Php15.00 tapos bigla na lang nawala after receiving a message from 2346 na hindi naman ako nagsubscribe. The second time na nagload ako sa globe Php15.00 same pa rin nangyayari bigla na lang nawala.
