View your stats page
Something needs to go on the 'view your stats' page. I'm not completely sure what, although I would assume some graphs showing your gas mileage would be good, but past that, I'm lost.

Inappropriate?I'd like to see my lifetime mileage, each of my vehicle's lifetime mileage, my mileage for the last X amount of time (both in all vehicles and in each vehicle), average fuel costs per mile for me, average fuel costs per mile for each of my vehicles...
Uh... er... That's where my ideas stop for now. :)

Inappropriate?what do you mean by 'lifetime mileage'? Each mileage entry, all the way back?
And in your case, average fuel costs per mile might be difficult, since you don't like recording that information ;) -
Inappropriate?I mean an average fuel mileage. Just one number, the total miles divided by the total gallons. Kind of like on the list of top makes / bottom makes / top years / bottom years. I guess I'm seeing a chart with average lifetime mileage in one column, average cost/gallon in the next column, and average cost per mile in the last, with rows being total and one row per vehicle.
Yes, that specific information wouldn't be meaningful for me. But if I did track cost, that would be interesting. My lifetime mileage and each of my car's lifetime mileage would be the same, as well, since I only have one car. That's another, "If I had it, I'd want..." :D -
Inappropriate?Ah, I see what you mean now. So you'd like to see average mileage, for the lifetime of your entries, aggregated across vehicles, as well as by vehicle, and then average mileage for a timespan X, aggregated across vehicles, as well as by vehicle?
I think I can make that work!
-
Inappropriate?Right. I'm not sure what "timespan X" should be. Maybe someone else can provide some input. Maybe that could be an option? I dunno. :)
