LOG IN PROBLEM TO MYSPACE...HELP!
I can't log into my myspace account, yes I've cleared temporary files and cookies as myspace tech had said to do but, when I type my email add. and password in, and hit log in it clears what I have typed in. all my accounts are doing it on myspace (kids, etc) it gives no error on page, or any to many failed attempts it gives me nothing except the sign in screen again and yes e-mail and password are correct. and yes the pages are still there I can see them when I put it in my browser...any suggestions because myspace tech is of no help. There support groups are awful they just send automatic responses to you... If anyone can help I'd appriciate it. I even tried to set up a new account and it does the same thing, back to log on...

I got luck, it fixed it's self no thanks to anyone! Hang in there God I know it makes you so mad you want to through the computer out the window...... -
Inappropriate?i have a post further down about this same thing. my account lets me log in, but it won't let me do anything once im logged in. i click on one thing and it sends me back to the login page. once in awhile i can send messages and edit my profile for a bit, and then out of the blue it sends me back to lOGIN AND IT STARTS ALL OVER AGAIN. I don't know what to do,

Inappropriate?My son is having the same problem with his computer. Can anyone tell me what is going on? Someone on Yahoo answers said that she downloaded the new I.E. 8 and has had trouble ever since with getting on. I can get on to his account on my computer, so we know it isn't his account, but his computer. We've tried going into tools and putting "always allow" for Myspace. Any other ideas?

Inappropriate?I had this problem and I'll tell you what I did... I downloaded Mozilla FireFox, logged in just fine. Then I was able to log in with Internet Explorer.... I have no clue why this worked but it did. I was having the same problem with Facebook too and it corrected that as well. Maybe that will help someone else?2 Comments Add a comment

this just started happening to me too...it started 3 days ago and it let me on after a while but now it has stopped for some reason and i really want on but it takes me back to the log in screen can some plz plz plz help?? and it will let my brother on and my sister but not be and i got my friend to get on and it let him from his house but it wont let me from my laptop i dnt knw wat to to..plz help at sage_froy@yahoo.com hurry plz?

does firefox work for you? i tried to download it, and it said the file was corrupt, so I looked up the thing on here and there are DOZENS of complaints about firefix 3 in particular messing up their computers. have u had any problem syet?

Inappropriate?I am downloading the firefox now. Mine just kind of fixed itself once day, like Trish said, but it still gets funky now and then. I think it is something to do with our specific computers, which is why after deleting temporary files and cookies once it started working as a friend suggested, I am downloading the firefox as well (as Dani suggested lol). It can't hurt, and I do not want to have to deal with the frustration i felt when my myspace was doing this ever again. Take her advice and just wait it out. and delete your temps and cookies. And if downloading the firefox helped dani, maybe all of you should try it and it might just end it all sooner than later like it did for her. Like I said, I am not taking any chances and doing just that.
By the way...where ARE those 2 Myspace employees that are supposed to be helping us with this? (not trying to be rude, just wondering....)

update: I tried to dl firefox but it said the file was corrupt, and after looking at the page on here about it, they seem to have a whole lot of unsatisfied customers, with computers being more messed up than helped by it. so now I am wary. i may have had a bogus site, but it was second under google, had the same link as the first search item, and looked totally legit. so i dont know...maybe i will just stick it out and hope the cookies and just time i spent waiting for it to fix itself...fixed it.

Inappropriate?I had this problem and wasn't able to log on for two weeks. I tried everything else everyone suggested, but nothing. So I downloaded firefox from www.mozilla.com/firefox/. It was less than 5 minutes to install and I was able to immediately log on to myspace. So I then tried to log on with Internet explorer and was able to log on with it again. Strange, but it works.

Inappropriate?i have the same problem too. ever since i upgraded my internet provided by myspace, their has been a problem with my log in. Like so as all the others, my address and password is correct. i am trying to find a way to remove the upgrade. their is nothing but irrtation to this. it is very complicated!!

It's been happening to me too. If you download myspace IM you can then log in through that, which is what worked for me.
Myspace IM comes with skype attached... I can't help but think this is some sort of well thought out spamming ploy.
I guess that now you have to use myspace IM (with Skype attached) to log in.... but I'm sure this was "accidental"... problem -
