Inappropriate?We already have an RSS feed for that (it was disabled for now because of the performance problems). In the new version we will bring it back and you'll be notified of new episodes via RSS.
Probably we won't do it by e-mail because it would mean that we would have to send a lot of e-mails every day, and some hosts may consider that as SPAM :)

Inappropriate?With the RSS and with a single iCal feed you could add to, for instance, Google Calendar, this would be somewhat redundant. If you use GoogleCal, you can set email notifications for events, which would take care of that. -

Inappropriate?I'm agree with you. But if some people don't want to have a cal or don't use it (since I discovered GCal I use it for an agenda use, but I know people who doesn't like), one mail per week won't be a bad idea. Maybe as a profile option.
