Noticed a few things
Noticed a few things
1. The check mark at the bottom indicating “I agree” turns on the “I’m done” button. This is OK, but if I then click on the “terms of service” link and then return, the check mark is still there but the I’m done is no longer available. I had to uncheck and then recheck in order to activate it.
Also there was no “back” on the terms of service. I used the previous page at the top, but when I got back to the sign in page, my passwords were gone! (is there a way to remember all information if you add a back button on the bottom of the terms of service?)
I reentered the passwords and again clicked I’m done. This time it told me my invite code was invalid. I reentered it and all then worked.
2. In my browser (explorer 7.0) the feedback button overlays the My neighborhood, My profile, My neighbors buttons if my screen is not full sized.
3. I had neighborsville open in two different windows. I logged out in one window and then tried to log out in the other. I got this message
The change you wanted was rejected (422)
4. I check the “remember me” when logging in, but when I logged out and back in, it didn’t remember me (yes, cookies are enabled). When I entered my email address, it remembered my password. Is this what you meant by “remember me”
5. I went to “Inbox” but it wouldn’t let me enter a “to” entry.
6. When I first logged in, it wanted me to import my address book, but I can’t find that now
7. On the compose page of my inbox, when I selected “how to guide” it just took me to the top of the page
8. Ditto, “meet the team”
9. Advertise (under business) takes me straight to a blank email addressed to Ryan. Wouldn’t it be better to go to a page that describes what you offer in the way of advertising and have page have an “email us” link
10. Holly Barrs advertisement takes you directly to her page. If you wander around her site, there is no easy to get back to Neighborsville. Wouldn’t it be better to open a new tab (or window) with her page on it?
11. Ditto with “Willow Glen News (actually, anytime you go to another site, it should be in another window)
12. Adding Mandy as a friend took me to the Neighborhood activity page, not back to the page I was on.

Inappropriate? Thanks, Stan. That's a great list. I'll take a look at these and add them to the queue. I'll probably follow up with you offline. I know where to find you ;)
I’m thankful

Inappropriate? Is this problem really from 8 months ago? If so then maybe I'm not seeing ANY of the things Stan describes because they've been stripped out of the product over time? Because I don't see an in-box or a "My Friends" function, or even any way to add people as friends, I'm not seeing any ads, nor an "Advertise" page. All I can see is the basic feed of four "Notes" that have been posted so far.
I’m confused

Inappropriate? We launched a first draft of Neighborsville in 2008. We've since rebuilt it from the ground up, so most of the things that Stan brought up are no longer relevant.
