@NewRelic Is there a way to define different memory limits for different hosts? My systems don't have the same RAM or same number of mongrel

I'm getting an error firing up version 2.4.2 on a Thin socket at Engine Yard.

If I run Thin in port mode it fires right up.

I accidentally started a test server (not our production server) with RPM enabled. I don't have enough licenses to cover all mongrel instances of both my test and prod server. I've shut off the test server, but now when I restart the prod server, it only lets some of my mongrel instances report to NR, the others have NR disabled according to the NR log file. How can I clear this out so that all my prod instances have a chance to log in to NR?

If NewRelic RPM identifies a slow spot in the "find" method of an ActiveRecord model, does that literally mean just the "find" method, or does that include the "find" variants like "find_by_x" and "find_by_y", etc.?

I love New Relic for our Rails app, but we have a Merb app too that could also make use of it. I know that there are lots of ORB options and such, but even just primitive support with process stats and request throughput would be a HUGE help.

I guess my feedback here too is that I would far prefer to see a partial Merb implementation soon rather than a full implementation later.

What happens if I have a Basic plan (which supports 4-10 Mongrels) and I have three applications with a Mongrel cluster of six for each for a total of eighteen Mongrels? Will RPM just ignore the last eight Mongrels or what happens?

I'm wondering how you apply your licensing to mongrel instances. Is it by number of mongrels assigned to an app, or by total number of running mongrels that the NR plugin is working for. We have a Basic plan we plan to use on 1 app that runs 10 mongrels, but is running on three load balanced servers. Any info would be appreciated.

I have a trial RPM account and am using it in connection with Passenger and it seems to work great! I am a bit confused with respect to what plan to get ie. how does the number of Mongrels in the plan relate to Passenger which has no such notion?

Does RPM have an API?

As your product looks to be excellent, I've been attempting to sign-up the company I work for for your service. We currently are with EngineYard, and thus I have attempted to use the form given by them.

Unfortunately, I have never received the promised confirmation e-mail--not even in my junk folder. Indeed, even when I tried signing up with an alternate e-mail address on an entirely different server (and the form forced me to pick a different account name because the previous one was now taken), it would not send me any confirmation e-mail.

I have tried e-mailing billing@newrelic.com (because it is the only listed e-mail address), but it seems that no one is checking that e-mail address as I have had no replies to my e-mails since I sent the first one nearly 20 hours ago.

Who should I contact to get this problem resolved quickly?

Does rpm work with JRuby? I was not able to install the plugin successfully with jruby-1.1.3.

Does RPM support automatic email alerts when metrics pass a certain threshold? If not, is this feature planned?
