Accidentally started RPM on a test box
I accidentally started a test server (not our production server) with RPM enabled. I don't have enough licenses to cover all mongrel instances of both my test and prod server. I've shut off the test server, but now when I restart the prod server, it only lets some of my mongrel instances report to NR, the others have NR disabled according to the NR log file. How can I clear this out so that all my prod instances have a chance to log in to NR?

Inappropriate?Hi Bryan,
If you shut down the mongrels running on your test server, the licenses will be made available again for your production server after about 5 minutes. Simply restart those production mongrels 5-10 minutes after you have shut down the ones running in test and you'll be all set.

Inappropriate?Actually the production ones seemed to recover on their own and start reporting to NR. It took longer than 5 minutes after I shut down my test box, but, I did not have to restart prod at all. Thanks.
