Chart rendering bug
I'm sure this is a problem with FusionCharts but maybe you can pass this on to them. It's makes the charts kind of hard to read and is happening pretty often in Chrome.

Inappropriate?Can you clarify what concerns you specifically? I'm guessing you are referring to the vertical bars. Those appear when you select a specific instance. It shows you when the mongrels or passenger threads (re)started.
If so then what's probably happening is passenger is spinning up and down instances pretty frequently for you.
I would infer that the graph would be better for you without showing this extra information. We actually are working on changing the model for passenger so it's more similar to mongrel, where instead of a single 'instance' appearing in the list, you would be able to distinguish the different threads running at any given time. In that case you would only see the bars when selecting one of the threads.
Meanwhile, you won't see these bars if you define and select an application or a host for the scope, instead of the passenger instance.

Inappropriate?Ohhh! I'm sorry, I didn't realize those meant something, because there's nothing to indicate that they do.
In that case carry on. I guess it does mean we're spinning up instances too often; will look into that.
